Upcoming sets of works associated with the Cambridge South West Travel Hub project
Two upcoming sets of works associated with the Cambridge South West Travel Hub project, which are due to start next week.
Please note that the first set of works is not yet fully confirmed. A decision is expected on Monday 2 February. We apologise for any inconvenience this uncertainty may cause.
Subject to confirmation, overnight works are expected to take place from Tuesday 3 February to Friday 6 February to allow for the installation of ducting on the A1309/Hauxton Road opposite Harness Close, near Milestone Bridge.
To manage traffic during these works, a two-way temporary traffic light system will be in operation between 8:00pm and 5:00am. The public footpath will also be closed during these hours.
In addition, provisional overnight survey works (9:00pm to 5:00am) are planned to start from Monday 9 February for a period of approximately six to ten weeks. These works will take place along the M11 northbound and southbound slip roads and hard shoulder, as well as sections of the A10 and A1309, including the dedicated Park and Ride lane.
Lane closures will be required at times; however, traffic will continue to pass through the affected areas.
Please note that all dates are subject to change. Further updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
